HOW WE MET
Our story starts six months before our first date with no immediate sparks flying. Our mutual friend, Kim, was having another house warming party (it’s very exciting when you buy your first house). Molly came over after off work, and started talking a cute, tall boy about his dog. Actually, the cute, tall boy did most of the talking, and very enthusiastically. If you can believe it, the cute tall boy was Alex, but that was it.
After a few minutes of talking, Alex left the party and over the next six months we were friends. Not real good friends, just friends that hung out at parties, went camping together, and just all around friends.
Then in late October 2013, a group of friends met for happy hour. We both agree we don’t know what it was about that night. We both always enjoyed each other’s company, but that night was different.
At the end of the night, Alex asked if he could take Molly on a date. Molly responded (jokingly), "Sure, if you're lucky." Little did she know, she was the lucky one (Its a wedding site people! It's going to be a little sappy!). Molly made Alex wait an entire 24 hours, and texted him saying if he was still interested she would like to go on a date with him. The day after that, Alex took Molly hiking in Golden, Colorado and then to a Golden Brewery Company (two of both of their favorite things, craft beer and hiking).
The rest my friends is, as they say, history. We've enjoyed a lot of adventures (usually on a daily basis), a lot of laughs, a lot of good food, and each other since that night of happy hour.
